International Procurement Group is a think tank, a
group of dedicated and distinguished procurement professionals gathered to
provide top-notch procurement services and foster development of procurement as
science.
Who are IPG members?
Normally, those are individuals who hold senior
procurement positions in businesses and organizations and those who dedicated
more than 10 years of their professional life to practicing or researching
procurement.
Why don't you have membership fee?
Our membership criteria are strict. This gives
assurance of quality and class to our clients. We believe people meeting our
membership requirements have already contributed to our profession and
industry.
What does membership give to your members?
Membership in IPG is a proud sign of quality.
Besides, our membership gives contracts. Short and
long-term assignments in various corners of the world. Moreover, every member
who links other members to clients gets 10% of professional fee earned by a linked
member. In other words, even being busy with their day jobs, our members can
earn money by referring other members to clients. And they can confidently
refer any IPG member, as they perfectly know every single member has been
rigorously selected and carefully examined before joining IPG team.
Tell us of your clients
Our clients are major Intergovernmental and
International organizations, Fortune 500 companies as well as non-for-profits,
joint-ventures, banks and funds. In plain English, everyone who deals with
procurement and supply management.
Can you tell us of your fees?
Our fees are calculated based on complexity and
duration of assignments. Fees highly depend on country/city, involvedness of
our members, length of service, TOR and many other criteria. There are no two
similar assignments; therefore each assignment/job is treated very seriously
and with respective portion of care.
How does IPG differ from other similar groups?
It's hard to think of any other similar group
gathering procurement professionals from different countries and at the same
time trying to share knowledge and develop procurement discipline. Of course,
we can recall analogous smaller initiatives, but those are either purely
business oriented or they lobby certain interests. In our case, as we stand
independent and impartial we can certainly say we are out from the crowd.
Why do you recommend other procurement service
providers on your website?
First, because they all support development of
procurement science, so they indirectly support what we do. This is a sign of
solidarity. We don't treat those mentioned on our website as our competitors. Many of our members have been working and still work in those companies.
And second, most importantly, mentioning other
companies on our website is a sign of our own confidence and quality that we
can bring.
